Equipping: Churches, Leaders, and Youth

Changing the culture and conversation in the church by preparing leaders to apply the Gospel to homosexuality.

We offer in person equipping for pastors, ministry leaders, and congregations. Our team can offer the insight of those who have walked the road of sexual identity struggles and have found the gospel and the church to be key for walking in freedom.  Prior to welcomed by your church, we would assess what you need and want most from our service. We would then tailor our time with you to most effectively meet your needs and desires. Topics of discussion and training can center on several areas of need. A few examples of our training are; a biblical theology of identity and sexuality, discipling and counseling those living with same-sex attraction and gender identity, creating a church and home culture that seeks to walk well with those struggling, and how to love and relate to your LGBT neighbor and family.

Finally, we help pastors and churches discern how to develop ministries within the context of the church by applying the model of biblical counseling and biblical theology. We are available for three-day training and development with churches. Our time with you can be customized according to your needs. Our equipping centers on speaking to staff, volunteers, and congregations. If you want to inquire about our equipping, please fill out the form linked below.

Schools and Youth Groups:

Over the past 15 years, Dan has had the distinct privilege of ministering to teenagers as a youth pastor, Christian School teacher, and coach. Dan’s experience with youth has given him a unique insight into the needs and the ongoing struggles teenagers face in our current culture. Teenagers who struggle with their sexuality and gender identity are particularly vulnerable due to their peer environment and the tension between their culture, their home, and their faith.

The struggle to identify with the prevailing cultural norms or attempt to align with a faith that many times seems distant, irrelevant, and unaccepting leaves most in this millennial generation abandoning a biblical sexual ethic. Dan combines 15 years of experience of communicating with teenagers and his heart to see this next generation embrace the joy and satisfaction found in God’s design for their life and sexuality.
